What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness refers to a form of attention that intentionally and non-judgmentally focuses on the present moment and brings awareness of body sensations, thoughts and feelings in the here and now.

Mindfulness practice is suitable both as a therapy-accompanying measure for stress syndromes of the most diverse causes and as a preventive measure for healthy people for a more balanced, conscious and healthier life. It is also a way to learn and deepen meditation in a non-religious context.

Regular mindfulness practise promotes:

  • self-awareness;
  • emotional contact with oneself;
  • greater stability;
  • calm;
  • clarity.

Practising attention directing allows us an inner space that can create new choices and freedom for more conscious decisions rather than automatic reactions.

Who is this course suitable for?

In this course, you will learn a mindful attitude and many exercises and meditations that will help you in your everyday life. Mindfulness can help you to be more relaxed, peaceful and content and to deal appropriately with anxiety, stress and difficult thoughts, emotions or behaviours.

In mindfulness sessions you will:

  • learn to deepen mindfulness;
  • learn mindful movement;
  • learn to sleep better;
  • learn meditation;
  • understand more about joy, gratitude, personal strengths and resources;
  • learn courage;
  • set new routines;
  • receive suggestions and exercises for everyday life;
  • learn to be creative;
  • understand your blocks or hinders, e.g. fear, anger, shame, resistance and “trauma”.

What do you need for the online course?

You will need a quiet place where you feel comfortable for the course sessions. Technical requirements: Laptop, PC or large tablet with camera and microphone.
